Teak Reforestation

In 1992 we planted a lot of trees on old cattle farms in the tropics.    For seven years Kevin Yardley worked very hard in the tropics, protecting the environment and endangered species such as jaguars, squirrel monkeys and scarlet macaws.   The  trees are growing very well with regular maintenance such as prunings and thinnings so that they grow straight and true.

We have planted more than 70 species of trees.  Most of these are native species in danger of extinction such as cocobolo rosewood, mahogany, Spanish cedar, goncalo alves, granadillo, mango, etc.    We also plant a lot of teak.  Teak trees are not native to the New World = Central America so that you know all of our teak products come from a sustainable source.   Our reforestation projects are FSC certified and we have chain-of-custody.

We love trees and the beautiful wood that they produce.  Our planters are really well made and do not need liners.  Soil can be placed directly inside.   All of our products are made with marine grade stainless steel hardware and the best waterproof adhesives.    All planters (except our smallest 3 x 3 x 13 inch herb planter) have drainage holes drilled in the horizontal bottoms.
